Dana Ng is a clinical nurse currently practicing at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City. Working within MSK’s department of breast cancer, her present role ensures positive patient outcomes with administration of chemotherapy to patients with this diagnosis. Dana has worked with many different patient populations, including neonates, adults, and geriatrics. She has experience in oncology, medical/surgical, neurology, and geriatric nursing in the acute care setting, as well as inpatient and outpatient chemotherapy nursing. Dana has developed a well-rounded foundation in her skills as a nurse through studying and treating the clinical and real-time progression of disease processes that afflict patients in need of hospitalization.
At Penn Medicine Princeton Healthcare, Dana was integral in the implementation of electronic health records, strides in patient education, and administrative execution for the Nursing Board within the institution. Over the time that she has practiced as a nurse, Dana has advanced her competency as a nurse by continuing education and earning certifications in palliative, oncology, and geriatric care. Her exemplary and compassionate care has allowed her to receive the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
